Bird character research.
Tweety - Looney Tunes.
Tweety is a male yellow canary, although he has very feminine features such as the long eyelashes, this is to make him appear cuter and more baby-like. The large feet and large head also add to the child like appearance. His design is very appealing to young children as he looks friendly and cute.
Foghorn Leghorn - Looney Tunes.
Foghorn is a Rooster with a less appealing design as he looks more grown up in comparison to Tweety. The small eyes and human like proportioned body give the impression that the design was made to interest older children or even adults. His head is quite small in comparison to his body which also makes his design less appealing, where as Tweety's head is very large, as well as his eyes, we associate large eyes with youthfulness and so this is why Tweety's design works better. When creating a suit, Foghorns design would most likely work better due to the already human-like shape, although Tweety's would also work.
Daffy Duck - Looney Tunes.
When growing up my favourite Looney Tunes character was Daffy Duck, I loved his design due to the colour scheme and the simple shapes, although what made me really love him was the way he was portrayed as a character, an underdog.
Heihei - Moana.
Heihei is one of those characters that makes you laugh every time they come on screen, always doing something silly like repeating a behaviour that results in them getting hurt. As well as having a funny personality, he is also funny to look at due to his very large outward pointing eyes.
