Very simple design, works well as a silhouette although there is no personality to the character and so it would not work well as an actual mascot.

Tony the Tiger. Tony is widely popular as he is always shown on television adverts and is all over the Kelloggs cereal boxes. His design is very likeable due to the attractive colours and masculine shape of the character. Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse is known all over the world, his design is very recognisable and simple. He works very well as a silhouette which is usually what makes a character stand out more.

Bird character research.

Tweety - Looney Tunes. Tweety is a male yellow canary, although he has very feminine features such as the long eyelashes, this is to make him appear cuter and more baby-like. The large feet and large head also add to the child like appearance. His design is very appealing to young children as he looks friendly and cute. Foghorn Leghorn - Looney Tunes. Foghorn is a Rooster with a less appealing design as he looks more grown up in comparison to Tweety. The small eyes and human like proportioned body give the impression that the design was made to interest older children or even adults. His head is quite small in comparison to his body which also makes his design less appealing, where as Tweety's head is very large, as well as his eyes, we associate large eyes with youthfulness and so this is why Tweety's design works better. When creating a suit, Foghorns design would most likely work better due to the already human-like shape, although Tweety's would also work. Daffy Duck - ...
